Eventbrite didn't have an actual ticket that could be printed, and then scanned at the event for entry. The old method required printing out the event confirmation email and a manual lookup at the door which was a nightmare for event holders. This ticket was fully scannable, easy to read and offered flexibility for being updated to a new design later. This was also the initial test for Eventbrite's foray into entry management systems.
